Allegations of conversion not new: Panchjanya

Days later the Center’s refusal to restore the enlistment of Missionaries of Charity (MoC) under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), Panchjanya, the RSS-partnered magazine, has said in an article that the charges of change and different abnormalities against the association established by Mother Teresa are not new.

In an article named “Saleeb, Satta aur Shadyantra” (Crucifixion, Power and Conspiracy), it has said that Mother Teresa was given the Bharat Ratna due to the “necessities of the alleged common governmental issues of India”, and her sainthood was presented based on a “lie”. The MoC declined to remark on the article.

“The charges of enjoying change for the sake of administration have regularly been evened out against Missionaries of Charity,” says the article.
